Javo, a Stuttgart fan, explains the origin of the MHP Arena name during the panel discussion
The name of Stuttgart's stadium has had the channel laughing for days. Javier Hernández, who supports both clubs, explains that it comes from a Porsche subsidiary and that locals prefer Neckarstadion.
Rubén Uría took advantage of the presence of Javier Hernández, known as Javo, a Spanish fan who has followed Stuttgart for years, to clear up the banter of the last 48 hours over the stadium's name: MHP Arena.
Javo admitted that in Spanish the name is not the happiest choice and explained that it belongs to a Porsche subsidiary, which he believes works in IT. The panel also joked about whether it was a printer headquarters, and Rubén confessed that every time he says the name someone laughs.
As for what it is called in Germany, Javo said people are getting used to it, but being very traditional they prefer Neckarstadion, and many still call it the Mercedes-Benz Arena, the name it carried for many years until the sponsorship changed.
