Simeone tired of questions about the Champions League final at the Metropolitano
He hopes he will not be asked it at every press conference because the questions are repetitive
Simeone answers questions in the Metropolitano press room
A journalist asks Simeone whether he longs for this Champions League in particular, with the final at his own stadium. The Atlético coach gives a curt reply: it is wonderful for the club, but the team is going game by game.
At the press conference ahead of Atlético v Bayern, a Fox journalist asked Simeone whether, with the Champions League final being held at the Metropolitano, he longs for this edition more than others.
Simeone began bluntly: he does not know how long they will stay in the Champions League, but he hopes he will not be asked that question at every press conference, because the questions are repetitive. He repeated once again that it is wonderful for the club that the final will be played at its stadium, but that the team is going game by game.
Reaching that stage, which he described as very lovely, demands an enormous amount of work and depends on what they do in each match. Later, on the live stream, Nacho Donado joked that all Simeone was missing was a sign saying 'stop asking me about it'.
