Julián Álvarez to Arsenal in January? Rubén Uría denies it
The show's information points to a player committed to the dressing room
A panellist reads out El Desmarque's report on Julián Álvarez and Arsenal
A panellist brings up a report, published by El Desmarque citing English sources, that Arsenal want Julián Álvarez in January. Rubén Uría responds with his own information: Julián is focused and knows he has to honour his contract.
A panellist notes that the day began with a story coming out of England: Arsenal reportedly have Julián Álvarez as their preferred option for January, just as they did in the summer. He himself doubts its reliability, since the same source claimed Haaland was going to join Barcelona.
Rubén Uría admits he had not heard about it because he has spent the day going from one meeting to another, and another panellist reads out the El Desmarque headline, written by Juan Ignacio Lechuga: Arsenal are said to be ready to sign Julián in January, with the player supposedly still unhappy at Atlético and beginning to warm to the idea.
Uría responds with his own information. He concedes that something may have happened that morning that he is unaware of, but as of the previous day, what he understood was that Julián Álvarez is committed to Atlético, increasingly focused on the team's current situation, invested in his teammates and the dressing room, and aware that he has to honour his contract. The panel also mentions some comments from Scaloni suggesting that Julián's focus is now firmly on Atlético.
