Nacho Donado, citing colleagues who were at training, reveals the line-up Simeone rehearsed for Atlético vs Barça: Koke partners Barrios in midfield and Kangin Lee would play up front alongside Julián.

There is still one more training session before the game and Simeone could change his mind, but this is what was tested: Oblak in goal; Marcos Llorente back in the defensive line with Pubill, Hancko and Grimaldo; Giuliano on the right and Baena on the left; Pablo Barrios and Koke in the centre, with Kangin Lee and Julián Álvarez up front.
It remains to be seen whether this is ultimately the XI Simeone picks to face Barcelona on Sunday or whether there are any changes to the line-up.
