Nacho Donado recalls meeting Benedict Cumberbatch in the mixed zone
In the Thursday Q&A, Nacho Donado names Iván Muelas as his favourite dubbing actor and recalls the shock of seeing Benedict Cumberbatch in London right after Arsenal knocked Atlético out.
In the Thursday Q&A, a question from the chat asks Nacho Donado, who has worked in dubbing, to name his favourite Spanish-language dubbing actor or actress. His answer is Iván Muelas, the Spanish voice of Will Smith and Benedict Cumberbatch.
Then comes the anecdote: he saw Cumberbatch, one of his favourite actors, in London just after Arsenal had knocked Atlético out. He was in the mixed zone, crushed by the elimination, when he suddenly saw the actor appear with his children where the players come out. He says it blew his mind: this was one of his top five.
He then runs through other legendary voices of Spanish dubbing, such as Constantino Romero, Pepe Mediavilla and Miguel Ángel Gener.
