Bayern always in fifth gear as Atlético struggle to keep up
Rubén Uría recalls that he had already warned of it after the Stuttgart game

For Rubén Uría, the most worrying thing is something he flagged back in Stuttgart: English and German sides play at a different speed. As soon as Bayern stepped on the gas, Atlético could not keep up.
Rubén Uría zeroes in on what he sees as the most worrying aspect of the night, and it is nothing new. He recalls that, on the day of the Stuttgart game, he had already explained on the show that the gap in playing style between Atlético and English and German sides was huge: they were going at 300 an hour and Atleti were not.
It was on display again against Bayern. According to Uría, as soon as the Germans put their foot down, Atlético could not keep pace with them.
He explains it with a gearbox metaphor: Atleti play in third gear and Bayern in fifth, and comfortably at that, because when they shift into sixth they disappear from sight. He closes by pointing out that people can twist it however they like, but it is the reality.
