Hugo Condés: "Atlético's first goal was scored by Koke's mother"
Atlético struck early in the Champions League and in the UEFA Youth League, the team of her two sons
Hugo Condés speaks emotionally about Koke and Borja's family
Hugo Condés recalls the warmth of Koke and Borja, close to the press since their academy days, and believes their mother's death spurred the team on: both of the family's sides flew out of the blocks in search of the opening goal.
Hugo Condés joins the live show after finishing his shift at Onda Cero and talks about the Resurrección family with the insight of someone who knows them well. He explains that anyone who has been close to the Atlético camp knows Koke and Borja are two very warm people who have not changed since they joined the academy, and that their family was always very close at a time when the media mixed more with the club.
That is why the news has hit them hard, he admits, and he even confesses a special fondness for Borja, with whom it is easier to build a relationship than with Koke.
But Hugo sees the loss as a spur for what happened on the day. Both the first team and the Youth League side flew out of the blocks in search of the opening goal, and he sums it up in one sentence: today's first goal, in both competitions, was scored by Ana.
