Cristian 'Cuti' Romero has suffered a muscle strain and will be out for a few days for Atlético de Madrid.
'Cuti' Romero, Atlético de Madrid's Argentine centre-back, has picked up an injury. Several medical tests have confirmed the problem, while ruling out anything serious. Atlético de Madrid's medical report states that the player will be out for an unspecified period: "Cristian Romero is not travelling due to a muscle strain sustained in the match against Espanyol."
According to several media outlets, Romero is expected to be sidelined for an estimated 10 to 15 days. The player did not travel to Germany with the rest of his teammates for the Champions League match against Stuttgart.
At Atlético de Madrid, they believe 'Cuti' Romero will miss at least two matches: the Champions League game against Stuttgart and the LaLiga fixture against Deportivo de La Coruña.
