From the Cerro del Espino, Nacho Donado ran through the likely line-up to face Levante: defence and midfield all but decided, with several options in attack and Julián ahead of the other alternatives.
Ahead of Simeone's press conference, Rubén Uría linked up with Nacho Donado in the press room at the Cerro del Espino to ask him about the starting XI after seeing Cuti Romero train fully.
Nacho explained that attack is where there are the most variables. At the back he sees it clearly: Cuti, Pubil and Hancko, with Giuliano and Grimaldo on the flanks, and Barrios in midfield alongside a partner. From there, different set-ups come into play.
Up front, by his reading, Julián is the most likely to start, while the other spot is more open, with names such as Jonathan David, Sorloth and Lookman among the options. Either way, Nacho believes that whatever Simeone chooses, it will be a line-up that can be fully trusted, because practically everyone is in good form.
